5 rules enforcement officers had been shot — one fatally — after responding to an active shooter in South Carolina on Wednesday, experiences said.
Three deputies from Florence County and two police officers from Florence Metropolis had been among these struck by bullets, according to WPDE-TV.
Florence County Emergency Administration said at around 6 p.m. that a shooter used to be in custody.
“The active taking pictures scenario is over and the suspect is in custody,” read an announcement from the agency.
“We’re asking everyone to lead clear of Vintage Notify as there remains to be an active crime investigation in growth.”
It used to be unsure what sparked the taking pictures.
